General Information About Maafushi

Maafushi Island is a beautiful island in the Maldives with a total population of just over 2,000 people. Tourism drives the local economy, with over 50 guesthouses in the region. The area is world-renowned for its sandy white beaches, blue ocean, and alluring coral reefs.

There are four main beaches: Bikini Beach, Public Beach, Water Sports Beach, and Coral Beach. Tourists are only allowed to wear skimpy swimwear on Bikini Beach. It is illegal to do so on other parts of the island.
